It is an exciting time in Worcestershire for Women and Girls cricket with a 74% increase in numbers participating during the past 12 months!
During that period 1,445 women and girls have picked up a bat and ball compared to 832 in 2018!
The introduction of the new ECB Inspiring Generations Strategy for 2020 – 2024 has a key focus on Women’s and Girls cricket, increasing opportunities for all ages and abilities to start their cricketing journey.
Over the past 12 months, we have more than doubled the number of clubs or sections offering women and girls cricket in Worcestershire from 10 to 22, meaning your next cricketing opportunity is just around the corner.
