Worcestershire Cricket Board welcomes the comprehensive Independent Commission for Equity in Cricket (ICEC) report, which was published today, and thank those who have come forward to share their experiences in cricket.
Over the forthcoming days we will be digesting the report’s contents alongside the commission’s recommendations.
Worcestershire Cricket Board’s stance is unequivocally clear. Any form of discrimination has no place in cricket, and we will continue in our mission to ensure that cricket is a game for everyone.
Worcestershire Cricket remain committed to taking all allegations of discrimination within cricket extremely seriously and wants to ensure that anyone can report it in the knowledge that we will act appropriately.
Craig Oakley, Head of Participation and Growth, stated "Following the publication of the Independent Commission for Equity in Cricket (ICEC) report, we will take the time to consider the findings and recommendations and contribute to the ECB consultation process over the next 3 months.”
